Our geodesic domes offer a unique Minnesota glamping experience in the heart of nature at Sweetbriar Ridge, Located near Cross Lake in Pine City. With spacious 16-foot high ceilings, expansive 20-foot bay windows, and a stargazing skylight view, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors while enjoying a comfortable, open-air living style.
Each dome features an en-suite shower and toilet, a convenient kitchenette, king bed with luxury linens, mezzanine with a queen bed, providing all the essentials for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat or romantic getaway, our domes offer the perfect blend of comfort and nature for a memorable glamping experience.

Chengwatana
Nestled beneath the graceful embrace of two towering white pines, Chengwatana dome beckons guests to immerse themselves in nature's embrace. Its warm, earthy wooden tones and soothing forest greens seamlessly blend indoor comforts with the tranquility of the great outdoors. Embodying the essence of its namesake, this sanctuary pays homage to the rich heritage of Chengwatana, a name derived from the Ojibwe language, signifying the sacred connection to the majestic White Pines that grace the landscape.

Solidago dome, named after the vibrant goldenrod flowers that adorn the prairie, offers a breathtaking panorama of one of Minnesota's most cherished and vanishing ecosystems; the native prairie landscape. Today, merely fragments of Minnesota's prairies endure, accounting for less than 1% of their former expanse. Sweetbriar Ridge stands firm in its pledge to preserve and rejuvenate these grasslands, safeguarding their ecological richness for generations to come.
Basalt
Nestled along the ridge line sculpted by Bear Creek, Basalt Dome occupies a prime position within the secluded expanse of Sweetbriar Ridge's 56 private acres. Meandering through the heart of the property, Bear Creek, though now a gentle trickle, remains a vital lifeline for the surrounding deciduous woods and pine groves. Its presence serves as a magnet for wildlife, inviting a delightful array of birds and creatures to quench their theirs and revel in the natural splendor of this serene sanctuary. Make the most of the snow!
Complementary standup paddle boards and sit-on-top kayaks are available during your stay. Throw the blowup board or kayak in your car and drive down the road to Snake River Landing, just a short 5 minutes from Sweetbriar Ridge. Spend the afternoon on the water exploring Cross Lake or float down the Snake or St. Croix River Waterways. Lifejackets, paddles, and pump are provided.
